Its almost that time of year again for one of Hawaii’s largest Technology Expo hosted by Technology News Bytes. This year it is anticipated to host 1,500 guests from various Hawaii businesses and organizations. The event will showcase local high-tech business services, latest products and innovations.

Each year TNB hosts a summit focusing on various relevant topics, this year the hot-topic in technology is the rise of Social Media in Hawaii. The Social Media Summit provides a great opportunity for businesses to learn or expand their existing knowledge about today’s ever-present topic: how social media ties in with business practices. As experienced speakers share insights and wisdom along with marketing strategies and real world examples, businesses can leverage social media to achieve their business goals through a new technological medium.

DrupalCon 2010 in San Francisco was a huge success!!  There were scores of experts providing sessions on everything from Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).  I had the privilege of sharing the stage with Drupal SEO guru Jen Lampton (@JenLampton) who walked through the installation of various Drupal modules.

Jen and I have created an On-Page Drupal Module SEO chart Jen dubbed as the “Holy Grail” which is found on the Chapter Three blog.

I met a lot of really great people and had a fantastic time, shout out to Tom McCracken and his team at LevelTen, check out the cool new project he is working on.
